About us

Carlsen is a publishing house with a broad range of products: Print books, apps and e-books not only for children and young adults, but also manga, comic books and humor books. It is part of the Swedish Bonnier Group.

The children's book list consists of innovative board books, picture books and fiction for children and young adults. Distinguished CARLSEN authors, e.g. Andreas Steinhöfel, have been published successfully on the CARLSEN list as well as internationally well-known authors such as Philip Pullman and Joanne K. Rowling.

The comic book list comprises fantasy, fun and, in particular, the highly successful Japanese Manga series. With an increasing number of own publications the comics list is attracting considerable interest from other European publishers.
